Mr. Steven J. Dell

G. Dell jedan je od vodećih međunarodno priznatih kirurga u području refrakcijske kirurgije i kirurgije katarakte, koji je izveo više od 15.000 operativnih zahvata. Član je Međunarodnog medicinskog savjetodavnog odbora Optical Expressa (International Medical Advisory Board (IMAB)).

Mjesečnik Texas Monthly nazvao je g. Della \'superdoktorom\', a 2005. godine Američko vijeće potrošača za istraživanje (Consumers\' Research Council of America) imenovalo ga je jednim od najboljih oftalmologa Amerike po treći put zaredom; više oftalmologa iz Središnjeg Teksasa i Austina odabralo bi njega da na njima izvede operaciju oka nego bilo kojeg drugog kirurga.

2006. godine liječnici čitatelji medicinskog časopisa "Cataract and Refractive Surgery Today" širom svijeta izabrali su g. Della jednim od pedeset najvećih kreatora mnijenja u području kirurgije katarakte i refrakcijske kirurgije drugu godinu zaredom. Radio je kao direktor za refrakcijsku kirurgiju i kirurgiju rožnice za Texan Eye Care i kao medicinski direktor Dell Laser Consultants u Austinu.

G. Dell je nagrađivani predavač, autor udžbenika i istraživač. Osim što osobno podučava nekoliko kirurga za postupak LASIK u području Austina, svoje stručno znanje dijeli i s drugim liječnicima sponzorirajući popularne prakse liječnika nerezidenata i predajući o temama refrakcijske kirurgije i kirurgije katarakte na skupovima oftalmologa širom svijeta.

Kroz čitavu svoju karijeru g. Dell je provodio istraživanja o najnovijim naprecima u očnoj kirurgiji, često radeći kao istraživač za studije koje je sponzorirala američka Uprava za hranu i lijekove (FDA). U tom je poslu odigrao odlučujući ulogu u dovođenju nove tehnologije u Sjedinjene Američke Države. I dalje usko surađuje s oftalmološkim tvrtkama na razvoju novih proizvoda i instrumenata, a sam je izumitelj nekoliko inovativnih medicinskih uređaja koje upotrebljavaju stotine kirurga za LASIK i kirurgiju katarakte.

G. Dell održava svoj status jednog od najvažnijih kirurga za LASIK i kirurgiju katarakte u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama time što i dalje unapređuje svoje znanje kirurgije i obnaša dužnost u uredništvima nekoliko poznatih oftalmoloških časopisa, istodobno radeći u vodećoj ulozi kao član raznih povezanih tijela i društava.
